My new name
You know how sometimes you get labled as a kid. When we were younger, I was the smart one and my brother was the jock. Well, at every sporting event I ever went to, my brother was always known as Graz. My parents were Mr. and Mrs. Graz, but I was always Vickie, until now. One of my fellow teachers has taken it upon himself to call me Graz. I totally crack up at this, because it doens't seem like a name fit for me. I thought it was just Mike who thought Graz was a good name for me, but yesterday another person comes in the office and says "Hey, Graz can I use you keys." I guess I have a new nickname.

Go White Sox
This post has nothing to do with the Sox, just have them on, so I thought I'd give a little shout out to them. Tonight I had a great time going out to eat with Joe and Sarah. I sure miss hanging out with them. I'm wishing that I was care free enough to hop in the car and go see Laurie preach at Ozark tomorrow. I mean how many corinated, oops I mean commissed friends do I have the opportunity to hear speak in a chapel service. Responsiblity just sucks the life right out of you.

Who's That Girl
Just got back from seeing an 80's cover band and Madonna is stuck in my head, besides that I think this title fits me for the last few weeks. For the first time in my life, I've been to two bars in one night. It was fun, but I'm reminded of how inhibited I am. I think back to the 40 days of purpose (Rick Warren was to change my life), and a quote about how it's never late to be the person you want to be. I want to be more free and crazy, but how do you make yourself do that? It's late as I write this, so if it's all foolishness, please ignore.

boys in plaid shorts
I've noticed a lot of boys at my new place of employment wearing plaid shorts. Not quite sure how I feel about it, but something to note.
