Florida Pics

This is Holly and I in the pool. She gave me some swimming lessons, so now I can start thinking about a tri-atholon.

This is the view from our condo. Sure beat the half foot of snow that I left behind.

If only I wasn't using a throw away camera, you would better be able to see the bird on the shore. He kept coming over to us, showing off the fact that even though he had two legs, he only had one foot.

This is Jenny and I at the beach. It took us a little while to get used to the wind, but the sun felt so good.

An Invitation

Florida pictures will be forthcoming. It was such a nice time. It felt so good to wear sandals, walk on the beach, and not feel the need to rush inside to get out of the cold. Jenny was surprised as planned. It seemed like a long time since we've had a chance to really talk.

Now that I'm back, I'm swamped with the work I didn't do before I left. I am being productive, but am waiting for that time, when all the papers are graded and the tests are written.

My incredible hosts have left for a holiday trip, so I have the house to myself. While I'm looking forward to the quiet, I think it will take a little getting used to.

Wanted to invite any one in the Bloomington area to come out to the Armory on S Main tomorrow to help WJBC get their gifts together for their Christmas Tree. I was out there on Tuesday, and it's unbelievable the amount of people in the area who are in need this Christmas. I was impressed by the way this organization tries to make the gifts they are giving as personal as possible. I'm looking forward to seeing how I can help tomorrow. I'm serious, if you want to help, they will be there from 5 to 9. I'm going about 5.

Thanks to everyone who let me watch karaoke in peace. Just a question, how do you define man meat? Apparently, I don't know the definition.

Just to Give Everyone Advanced Warning

I just wanted everyone to know, that a girl can have fun at a karaoke party, without actually participating in the karaoke.


With that said, I'm off to look at open houses, even though I can't buy a house, and to find a dress to wear to a wedding, even though I'm still looking for a date. Maybe I should try to do things in the right order.
